Why is shipping so expensive?  This is an explanation of shipping and shipping charges:

International orders are subject to additional fee's charged by your government We are not responsible for broker fee's, duties or additional charges.

All items are hand packed and require a person who is paid to "box and ship" the item(s). Shipping includes charges for boxes and packaging materials (expensive on ceramic items).

Shipping outside the 48 contiguous States of the United States of America requires additional handling.  *USPS priority is an inexpensive way to ship outside the 48 contiguous United States (if your package is less than 3 pounds please call if you need small items sent if  "fat rate box")  US postal service does not guarantee delivery times.

Use the Quick Cost Calculator to determine shipping rates, service availability, and delivery time commitments.

Shipping is a completely separate service provided by a company whom is out of our control.

1. We will provide you with any tracking, or proof of delivery very quickly via e-mail.  Please do not phone to ask for this information (cashiers can not track your package).

3.  Shipping is not refundable.

4.  If you would like to exchange or return your item, you must pay for shipping and insurance.

Ceramic items require "special" packaging. Canister Sets are UPS oversize 1 or 2.  These items are  surrounded in thick foam, in addition to the original box so they are very large (usually two to three times the size of the item).  Air freight is very expensive (especially on dish sets, canister sets and water dispensers).   Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, or APO require US Postal Service Priority which is very expensive on packages 3 pounds and over.

Ground shipments can save money by adding lots of small items to a large item.  Small (size) items usually only add a few cents.
