Chef Kim is
a transplant from Chicago and a graduate from the French Pastry School. Trained
in classic French pastry arts, she worked at one of the most prestigious hotels
in the city of Chicago, which afforded her opportunities to serve two U.S.
Presidents, and participate in a Food Network Challenge.
She then refined her skills working as the Executive Pastry Chef at one
of the finest private country clubs in the city of Chicago, where she crafted
desserts for various politicians, businessmen, entrepreneurs, and other VIPs.
Upon moving to San Diego, Chef Kim took on the role of Culinary Instructor at
the International Culinary School at the Art
Institute of San Diego, teaching
everything from the basics of the pastry arts, to advanced plated desserts, and
the fine art of European style cakes.
